Reflective-coreflective equivalence

We explore a curious type of equivalence between certain pairs of reflectiveand coreflective subcategories. We illustrate with examples involvingnoncommutative duality for C*-dynamical systems and compact quantum groups, aswell as examples where the subcategories are actually isomorphic.
